Stone Mountain Park

This dog park located a short walk from the Stone Mtn. Village Visitor Center less than 20 miles away from downtown Atlanta. The park is situated just between 3rd and 4th st. The prime parking is next to the visitor center or you can to the MARTA Park and Ride. There are water fountains for pups, benches for people and an area where smaller breed dogs can socialize

Centennial Olympic Park

The Centennial Olympic Park hosted the 1996 games and remains a popular tourist attraction and city landmark. The park hots lots of free concerts and festivals. It is extremely dog friendly and a great place for a walk.

Off-Leash Piedmont Park

The law in Atlanta is pretty strict when it comes to having your dog on a leash. Due to a city ordiance all dogs in public and community areas have to be leashed. The Piedmont Dog Park is on of the few place in Altanta where you can let your dog run around freely. This off leash park is a big hit with the locals.
